Intern — Digital Infrastructure & Cloud

Join the team behind our flagship Digital Infrastructure Upgrade service and help corporations modernize their infrastructure and cut its fixed running cost — over a full six-month placement, on real customer projects.

What you'll do

  • Support cloud & data migration projects — assessment, planning, and execution
  • Help profile, tier, and clean data, including AI-assisted data optimization
  • Right-size and document infrastructure to remove fixed running costs
  • Build small automation scripts and dashboards to track savings

What we look for

  • Studying computer science, IT, data, or a related engineering field
  • Some exposure to cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Linux, SQL, or Python
  • Curiosity about cost optimization, data, and AI — and a willingness to learn
  • Good English; German is a plus, not a must

We host students for Praktikum, Werkstudent positions, and Bachelor/Master thesis projects across all six disciplines.

  • Praktikum (Pflicht & freiwillig) — 3 to 6 months
  • Werkstudent — 15–20 hrs/week alongside studies
  • Bachelor & Master thesis topics in MBD, AUTOSAR, V&V
  • Real projects, real customers — not coffee runs
Who We're Looking For

Engineers across our six disciplines.

MBD engineers

Strong MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder or TargetLink. Powertrain, chassis, body, or ADAS background.

AUTOSAR engineers

Classic or Adaptive AUTOSAR. Vector, EB tresos, ETAS or Mentor toolchains. BSW, RTE, or ASW integration.

Hardware engineers

Schematic, PCB layout, EMC, design verification. Altium, Mentor, Cadence experience. Automotive ECU background.

V&V engineers

MiL, SiL, HiL test design and automation. dSPACE, Vector CANoe, ETAS LABCAR. Functional safety experience welcome.

Project & program managers

Automotive program experience. ASPICE, gate reviews, supplier management. Multi-stakeholder coordination.

Embedded software engineers

Hand-written C/C++ for automotive ECUs. Drivers, bootloaders, RTOS or bare-metal. Debugging on real targets.

Real automotive projects, not theoretical exercises.

If you're studying at Universität Stuttgart, Hochschule Esslingen, KIT Karlsruhe, Hochschule Reutlingen, or any other engineering programme — we'd love to hear from you. Our interns and Werkstudenten work on the same customer projects as our full-time engineers, with proper mentorship and code reviews.

Bachelor and Master thesis topics are co-defined with you and the customer — practical problems, not invented ones.

Currently open: a 6-month Digital Infrastructure & Cloud internship (see above), plus Praktikum + thesis positions in MBD, AUTOSAR, and V&V.
